Contest #1 : Memorable Moments

Theme:

What are some of the most memorable moments you've had in Guild Wars? Was there some annoying boss you had loads of trouble with? A fun moment while adventuring with your guildies? Experienced extreme frustration while in a dungeon, a mission or a quest?

I find that the Desolation area in Guild Wars Nightfall to be one of the most interesting places i've been in the game, the first time i got there, it just blew me away, the scenery and mood of the area is just fantastic. It brought the epic sense into the game and inspired alot of imagination too ^^ Not to say that the other areas in Nightfall is not interesting, but Desolation has it's unique quality (and the worms lol). So my most memorable moments in GW has to be upon arriving at Desolation. :)

I think you captured the mood very well! I like how you set the whole thing up, although it could possibly be a bit more intense if the monument was slightly off-center. The hazyness also fits very well, as if the wind was blowing the sand in the air and obscuring the view :D

i agree, should have made it slightly off-center, as always i got carried away with the details . i keep forgeting about it =p

glad you like the hazyness of it, was worried that it might look too dusty :lol:
